ARGYLE were forced to settle for a Peninsula League point against a battling Camelford outfit at Coach Road on Friday night.
The Pilgrims, as expected, largely controlled possession on a difficult surface but were frustrated by a resilient and disciplined defensive display from the Camels.
Stoic work at the back earned the ideal reward just two minutes after the restart, when Ed Harrison pounced for a shock Camelford lead. Argyle were stunned into action and the response was full of quality.
A slick move down the right finally breached the Camelford defence and, when the ball was squared to Alex Fletcher, he finished with customary composure. Argyle piled forward in search of a winner but massive credit to the visitors for hanging on to an impressive point.
